Alicia Witt, a singer and songwriter as well as pianist is most well-known for her work as an actress. But, she's performed music ever since she was able to appear on screen. The 2009 album, titled eponymous and made public after having primarily worked as pianist, showed how much she owes Elton John. Her first studio album produced by Ben Folds, Revisionary History, appeared in the year 2015. She followed it with releases including 2021's The Conduit, which marked her debut as co-producer. Alicia Witt made her first appearance onscreen as Alia Atreides, in David Lynch's 1984 adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. It's no surprise that being only ten years old it was assumed that she was acting despite the fact that she'd had been a pianist for nearly all her life, as well as acting. Although she was onscreen more than she was on stage, her professional career as a musician did not begin until 1995.
